Develop market, recruit and coordinate Alabama A & M University's Changing Lanes
Mentoring Program for 350 mentors and protégées.
Duties included the development of relationships and networks with institutional
leadership, academic deans, student leadership, alumni and corporate partners. Develop
and manage the department budget to meet program objectives. Develop an e-mentoring
program and communication network for mentors and protégée. The network includes a
Facebook group, Twitter, online application and online training, Webex, Tokbox, Adobe
Pro Connect and Skype.
Develop a continuous quality improvement and data driven assessment program to
support accreditation and federal funding requirements. Develop grants proposals in
collaboration with other university departments to support student retention.
Develop and conduct academic and professional seminars and developmental workshops
on time management, academic success, learning styles and transitioning from high school to college to enhance student retention and graduation. Develop and analyze daily, weekly and monthly reports in collaboration with Institutional Research and Planning.
Provide intrusive academic counseling to students on academic probation in support of
Alabama & M University's retention strategy. Develop and coordinate a corporate
mentoring program with Boeing, U.S Army Corp of Engineers, Marshal Space Flight Center,  and Alabama A & M University students.
Major Accomplishments: Participants average annual freshman to sophomore retention
was 88 percent with an average annual cumulative GPA of 2.88 in 2009/2010 and 83
percent and 2.84 GPA in the 2008/2009 academic year respectively. Develop mentoring initiative and provide mentor training to Boeing, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineer mentors and Alabama A & M University protégées. Organize annual Meet and Greet to include speakers such as Lt. Lieutenant General Dennis Via, U.S. Army Materiel Command, Deputy Commanding General, Mr. Robert M. Lightfoot Jr., Director of NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, Dr. Andrew Hugine, Jr., President, Alabama A & M University.

08/10- present. Instructor, University College, Alabama A & M University. Course: Freshman Seminar. Utilized, blogs, Google Apps, Facebook, twitter and blackboard to create an integrated multimedia classroom experience.

Certified by AT&T Wireless to train prepaid, postpaid, and business customer service agents on the GSM network. Duties included  participating with corporate clients in implementing training projects for start-up and existing call centers. Trained and developed over 1000 customer service agents at call centers in Alabama, Texas and Ohio to meet established quality standards. Developed and analyzed assessments to improve operational efficiency and drive the continuous quality improvement strategy. Worked closely with AT & T training staff in the development and revision of electronic training curriculum in AT & T University.
